Microcircuit

Microcircuit (Pty) Ltd was established in 1968 operating in the field of industrial control systems integration.
In many cases this included the provision of unattended control stations in areas of high ambient temperatures and hazardous atmospheric conditions which were injurious to normal service wiring.

After some investigation and testing it was found that Ethylene TetraFluoroEthylene copolymer (ETFE) insulated wire would overcome these problems.

In 1973 Microcircuit (Pty) Ltd started manufacturing ETFE Insulated wire in accordance with MIL-W-22759/16 mechanical standards.

Microcircuit products now include home surface heating systems and under carpet heating elements south africa together with refrigeration defrost heaters and all types of mid temperature heating requirements, using in-house manufactured ETFE Insulated elements.

ETFE insulated wires and cables are used in a wide range of applications across all industries such as mining, aircraft, arms, commercial, industrial and domestic applications where there is exposure to environmental conditions of high and low temperature extremes, plus chemical, mechanical and UV radiation stresses.
